Position: AWS CLOUD INSTRUCTOR
Location: Broward County, FL (On-site) & Online (Remote)
Type: Part-time / Contract
About the Role
We are looking for an AWS-certified instructor to deliver cloud training courses. The instructor will prepare students for AWS certification exams, covering foundational to associate-level content with a focus on practical, real-world cloud skills.
Required Certification
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (minimum required)
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or higher strongly preferred
Proof of active certification required upon application.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions for all assigned courses
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, practice exams, and course handouts
- Adapt teaching style to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of exam objectives and industry changes
- Coordinate with program coordinators regarding scheduling and course updates
- Deliver training for AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or Associate-level certifications
- Cover core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and more
- Develop labs, demos, and scenario-based exercises using the AWS Management Console
- Provide students with exam tips, study strategies, and practice questions
Requirements
Technical & Teaching Skills:
- Proficient in Zoom and other online learning platforms (Google Meet, Teams, LMS platforms such as Canvas, Moodle, or similar)
- Ability to manage virtual classrooms, breakout rooms, screen sharing, and digital whiteboards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Active AWS certification(s) required — proof must be submitted upon application
- Practical, hands-on experience working within AWS cloud environments
Prior Teaching Experience:
- Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, or educator is strongly preferred
- Experience teaching corporate or professional certification programs is a plus
Location:
- Must be available to teach on-site in Broward County, FL
- Must also be available to deliver online sessions remotely

Compensation
Competitive — based on experience, certifications held, and number of courses taught. Details discussed during the interview process.
