About the Role

We are seeking a certified Lean Six Sigma instructor to teach process improvement methodologies to professionals across various industries. The instructor should bring concepts to life through real-world examples and practical application of the DMAIC framework.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective training sessions for all assigned courses
• Prepare lesson plans, study materials, practice exams, and course handouts
• Adapt teaching style to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of exam objectives and industry changes
• Coordinate with program coordinators regarding scheduling and course updates
• Teach the full DMAIC methodology: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control
• Cover Lean tools including value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, and waste elimination
• Introduce statistical concepts and tools (Minitab or similar software is a plus)
• Guide students through real or simulated process improvement projects
• Prepare students for certification exams from ASQ, IASSC, or equivalent bodies

Requirements

Technical & Teaching Skills:

• Proficient in Zoom and other online learning platforms (Google Meet, Teams, LMS platforms such as Canvas, Moodle, or similar)
• Ability to manage virtual classrooms, breakout rooms, screen sharing, and digital whiteboards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Active Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt from an accredited organization (ASQ, IASSC, or equivalent)
• Real-world experience applying Lean Six Sigma in business, manufacturing, or service environments

Prior Teaching Experience:

• Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, or educator is strongly preferred
• Experience teaching corporate or professional certification programs is a plus

Location:

• Must be available to teach on-site in Broward County, FL
• Must also be available to deliver online sessions remotely

• Reliable, high-speed internet connection
• Quiet, professional, distraction-free workspace

Compensation

Competitive — based on experience, certifications held, and number of courses taught. Details discussed during the interview process.
